One of my proudest moments as creative director at GGT, was when this ad by Erik Kessells, Johan Kramer and Tyler Whisnand won the top prize at The New York Art Directors Club.
It was directed by Frank Budgen, who even up until the pre-production meeting wasn’t sure how we were going to make it work. He did of course, and it still looks good today.
I actually ended up being in it too. Frank thought that the commuters who’d been cast to walk across the bridge looked like a bunch of clubbers on their way home after a night out, so asked me to step in as I was wearing a suit.
